Recommendations/Options/Action Requested:

 

Award recommended bids for Bid No. B1639, 2017 Chemical Program. Staff will re-bid for a limited number of non-sole source items for which no qualifying bids were received.

 

Executive Summary:

Annually, based on detailed specifications, staff requests bids for the upcoming year’s Chemical Program. Bids for the 2017 Chemical Program were opened on October 25, 2016 and evaluated by department staff. The bid summary is attached with the recommended bid marked by a triple asterisk (***). The recommended bids are based on the low bid that met the chemical specifications and includes shipping requirements. A comparison of chemical use from 2011 to September 2016 and unit prices is attached.
