Executive Summary: |
This is a request to adopt the Oread Neighborhood Design Guidelines, incorporate them into Chapter 3 of the Land Development Code, and apply the six districts their respective areas via rezoning applications. The rezoning does not change the base zoning for any property; it only applies an Urban Conservation Overlay District (-UC) to implement the Design Guidelines.
The Historic Resources Commission considered this item at their June 16, 2016 meeting and voted unanimously to forward the applications with a recommendation for approval.
The Planning Commission considered this item at their July 25, 2016 meeting and voted unanimously to forward the applications with a recommendation for approval.
