Part of the Utilities Department’s efforts at Inflow & Infiltration (I/I) reduction is to repair/reconstruct existing sewer lines that are a source of I/I. CIPP is one of the methods used. The CIPP method involves lining the inside of older deteriorated pipes without excavation. Therefore, there is very little disruption above ground.
Change Order No. 1 to the construction contract includes the following items of work that were not apparent until construction of the improvements started or were additional items requested by the City. Staff has reviewed the proposed Change Order No. 1 and recommends authorizing its execution.
