Staff recommends approval of Comprehensive Plan Amendment, CPA-16-00309, to Chapter 14 of Horizon 2020 to amend the Oread Neighborhood Plan Future Land Use Map, and adopt on first reading, Ordinance No. 9300, if appropriate.

Executive Summary: |
This Comprehensive Plan Amendment was submitted to the Planning Office on July 25th, 2016. This request proposes revising the existing Future Land Use Map for the northeast corner of Illinois Street and Fambrough Drive from Low-Density Residential Land Use to High-Density Residential Land Use, and include narrative into the Oread Neighborhood Plan that parking shall only serve the University of Kansas/HERE Kansas project.
The Planning Commission heard this item and recommended its approval on September 26, 2016.
