Executive Summary: |
The City of Lawrence has solicited proposals from interested consultants to assist the City with the strategic plan development. The City received nine (9) proposals in response to the RFP for strategic planning consulting services. These nine proposals were reduced to three (3) finalist firms by staff. The three (3) finalist firms include: Management Partners, Novak Consulting Group, and Shockey Consulting.
Staff is seeking two City Commission representatives to serve on the selection panel to recommend one of these three (3) finalist firms as the consultant to assist with our strategic planning work. The recommendation from the panel would return to the full City Commission for final selection at the October 18, 2016 City Commission meeting. This enables the project to stay on schedule with an early March 2017 estimated completion date. |
