Update on FAA Safety Audit at the Lawrence Airport
After further discussion with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Central Region Office, staff would like additional time to review this issue and better understand the FAA’s process before making a recommendation to the City Commission. The Safety Audit that the Commission has requested is being reviewed and completed by the FAA. After they have studied the Lawrence Airport they will contact us to discuss what their findings are and at that time we should be able to provide additional information, ask questions, and have a better understanding of what they will be recommending. We will keep the Commission and Airport Advisory Board updated of any information we receive from the FAA.
Rental Licensing Report
Planning and Development Services submits the First Half of 2016 rental licensing and inspection report for review. Previous reports may be found on the website.
