Executive Summary: |
This ordinance modifies the Lawrence City Code to address parking meter fees and fines related to the HERE @ Kansas mixed use development.
Parking meter fees and fines for Mississippi Street and Indiana Street meters, adjacent to the HERE project, were adopted unanimously by the City Commission at their meeting on April 5, 2016.
The fees and fines are as follows: 2-hour metered parking at $1.50 per hour with a fine of $15.00 per violation, increasing to $40.00 ($15.00 + an additional $25.00) after 14 days.
This ordinance is a follow up to that action. |
