September 3: Commissioners are invited to a PRIVATE dinner (4:30 p.m.) at Chancellor’s residence and to attend KU Football game. This is a private event and RSVP is required.
September 8: Chamber Fall Mixer, Meadowbrook Apartment Complex, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
September 11: Commissioners have been invited to participate in the Law and Order Sunday service at Heritage Baptist Church, 1781 E. 800th Road, 10:30 a.m.
September 12: Commissioners are invited to attend the North Lawrence Improvement Association Potluck Picnic, 6:00 p.m. at the Lyon Park Picnic Shelter.
September 13: Ribbon Cutting – 11:30 a.m. – Mid American Credit Union, 550 Wakarusa. Vice Mayor Soden presiding.
September 14: Welcome reception for Kimberly Williams, CEO of Lawrence Arts Center, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Location: Lawrence Arts Center’s Large Gallery, 940 New Hampshire Street.
September 16: USD 497 Community Education Breakfast, 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. Location: Lawrence DoubleTree by Hilton.
September 16: Valor Awards Ceremony/Reception – 5:30 p.m. Location: Crown Toyota Pavilion.
September 21: Mayor Amyx speak at National Active Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) lunch, 12:00 p.m. Location: Club House at Chipperdale.
September 23: Mayor Amyx serving on Leadership Lawrence Panel, 12:45 p.m. Location: Fire Station No. 5 – Jayhawk Room.
September 26: Mayor Amyx welcome to the CS LEEDS convention, 7:50 a.m. Location: Springhill Suites Ballroom.
September 28: The City Commission is invited to attend a lunch with the Planning Commission during the Planning Commission Retreat, 12:00 – 1:30 p.m.

County Food Policy Council Fall Farm Tour 2016, 8:00 – 11:30 a.m. Tour begins
