RE:	2016 Indoor Aquatic Center Maintenance Schedule Change

The Indoor Aquatic Center traditionally shuts down for two weeks in mid-August for annual maintenance.   This year we will also be installing a new HVAC unit and ductwork in the leisure pool.  Our maintenance team has met with the contractor and determined an additional week is necessary to complete the work.  This installation project will now close the Indoor Aquatic Center Sunday, August 14 through September 5, reopening on Tuesday, September 6.

For that additional week, Aquatics staff is in the process of moving scheduled classes, swim teams and swimming lessons to the Outdoor Aquatic Center.  Expanded hours at the outdoor pool are being advertised as follows:

Outdoor Aquatic Center

M-F (8/15-8/19)

Lap swim/workouts 5:15am-12:45pm and 1:00pm-8:45pm

Open swim 1:00pm-8:45pm

Saturday (8/20)

Lap swim/workouts 9:00am-12:45pm and 1:00pm-8:45pm

Open swim 1:00pm-8:45pm

Regularly scheduled and advertised hours of the Outdoor Aquatic Center will resume on Monday, August 22.
