RE:	Authorize the City Manager to execute a supplemental agreement with Zimmerschied Architecture for site planning, design and documentation of 746 Kentucky Street (Fire Station No. 1) and 745 Vermont Street (Douglas County Senior Services) – Project FM1601.

Background

The City is working with Douglas County to develop plans for the remodel of the East end of the building that houses Douglas County Senior Services.  The current agreement outlines the responsibility of the City to provide space for senior services.  A supplemental agreement with Zimmerschied Architecture for additional space needs assessment and preliminary design was approved administratively in the amount of $12,800.00.

This supplemental agreement modifies the referenced Agreement above to include architecture services for site planning, design and documentation of 746 Kentucky Street (Fire Station No. 1) and 745 Vermont Street (Douglas County Senior Services) – Project FM1601, to include:

Staff Recommendation

Recommend supplemental agreement for Architectural /Engineering Services Agreement for Remodel of Fire Station No. 1 and Doulas County Senior Services – February 16, 2016 in the amount of $17,900.

Action

Authorize the City Manager to execute a supplemental agreement with Zimmerschied Architecture in the amount of $17,900.00 for site planning, construction and topographical survey services and landscape architecture related to Fire Station No. 1 and Douglas County Senior Services – Project FM 1601.
