RE:	Traffic Safety Commission, No Parking, Ousdahl Road between 19^th Street & 20^th Street

Background

At the May 2, 2016 Traffic Safety Commission meeting, the Commission heard a request to establish NO PARKING along the east side of Ousdahl Road between 19^th Street & 20^th Street (see attached). Ousdahl Road is classified as a “collector” street in a residential area and is paved approximately 25 feet wide. Parking is currently prohibited along the west side of the street and along the east side of the street from 19^th Street, south 100 feet.

Traffic Safety Commission Action

At the Traffic Safety Commission meeting, no one from the public addressed the Commission about this item. The Commission, on a unanimous vote of 8-0, recommended denying the request to establish NO PARKING along the east side of Ousdahl Road between 19^th Street & 20th Street.

Action Request

It is recommended that the City Commission concur with the recommendation of the Traffic Safety Commission to deny the request to establish NO PARKING along the east side of Ousdahl Road between 19^th Street & 20th Street.
