Vacation of Utility Easement, 4117 & 4121 Wimbledon Drive

 

Background

On July 19, 2016, the City Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the vacation of a utility easement; described as:  Racquet Club No. 2 Subdivision a replat of Racquet Club Subdivision & a portion of the Alvamar Golf Course lot 24 (aka 4117 Wimbledon Drive) and Racquet Club No. 2 Subdivision a replat of Racquet Club Subdivision & a portion of the Alvamar Golf Course lot 23 (aka 4121 Wimbledon Drive).

 

The owners, Richard & Linda Finger and Brian E. Lambright request the vacation in hopes of addressing immediate drainage needs of both property owners.  They request to have the full utilization of the 20’ between their homes to make the necessary grading and drainage improvements.  Options being considered include enlarging the french drain, additional grading and a small wall, for the side yard between both properties.

 

All utilities, as well as property owners within 200 feet, were notified.  No objections were received. 

 

Action Request

Approve a request submitted by Richard & Linda Finger and Brian E. Lambright, to vacate a 15’ utility easement between their homes at 4117 Wimbledon Drive and 4121 Wimbledon Drive.
