2016 Tour of Lawrence to Close Streets

 July 15 & 17 2016

On Tuesday, May 17, 2016 the Lawrence City Commission will consider allowing the following closures:

On Friday, July 15, 2016 the 700 block and part of the 800 block of Vermont Street would be entirely closed from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The 100 block of West 8^th Street (between Massachusetts and Vermont Streets) would be closed from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and the eastern half of the 200 block of West 8^th Street (from Vermont west to the alley) would be closed from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

On Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. the downtown streets associated with the race would be completely closed to vehicular traffic and parking  for the 2016 Tour of Lawrence Bike Race.
