RE:	Signs of Community Interest Request, Spring Parade of Homes

Background

The Lawrence Home Builders Association has requested permission to display temporary directional signs within the city right of way at various locations throughout the City to promote their Spring Parade of Homes event, which takes place over two weekends, April 30 to May 1 and May 7 & 8, 2016.  Directional arrow signs for each Parade of Homes entry would be set out on the morning of Saturday, April 30, and removed by the morning of Monday, May 9, 2016.  The proposed signs are less than one square foot in area each and graphics are limited to a directional arrow with the Parade of Homes assigned entry number (1 through 20).
