One (1) Parking Control Replacement

 

Background

The City Commission authorized funds for the replacement of one (1) parking control vehicle in the 2016 budget process.  Bids were sent as required by the city’s purchasing policy.  Unit 175, a 1999 Dodge Ram, has been identified as a unit at the end of its useable life. This unit is used for revenue collection and maintenance of the city’s parking meter systems. This unit has met the city’s replacement criteria. The equipment replacement schedule is based on age, mileage, hours of use, and cost of maintenance and upkeep.

 

Staff Recommendation

Central Maintenance Garage and Parking Control staff recommends the purchase of one (1) 2016 Ford F250 from Laird Noller Ford.  Bids were sent following the City’s purchasing policy.
