RE:

Holcom Park Center HVAC Repairs.

At the March 1, 2016 City Commission meeting, the City Commission authorized the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department to solicit bids for the repair of the Holcom Park Center HVAC system.

Project Description

In the fall 2015, one of the main compressor units on the Holcom Park Center air-conditioning system failed. This portion of the system cools the lobby, meeting rooms, offices, restrooms and weight room. Some of the equipment associated with this compressor is original equipment dating back to the 1980’s when the building was constructed. The proposed project will replace the exterior compressor unit and the coils inside the air handler. This work must be completed this spring to allow the buildings air conditioning to function. The engineers estimate for this project was $70,000.
