RE:	Custodial agenda item for 2/16/16 – additional information on cost for setting a minimum wage floor through a change order.

We had requested and received information from our current custodial contractor (ISS) as related to an estimated cost to perform a change order to the existing contract. The change order would set a minimum wage for all contract personnel performing work under this contract. We selected $13.00 per hour wage for the purpose of getting this estimate.

Based on the current contract and the $13.00 per hour minimum wage ISS has indicated to us that the change order would raise the annual cost of the contract approximately $57,000.00. The actual change order cost would depend on the final minimum hourly rate.
