RE:	SE-15-00637 – Special Event Permit for Seasonal Greenhouse Sales.

Background

A Special Event Permit has been requested for Seasonal Greenhouse Sales at 2300 Louisiana Street (Checkers) from March 26^th through June 30^th, 2016. Submitted by Kaw Valley Greenhouses, Inc., with permission of 2300 Louisiana Co, LLC, property owner of record.

Similar events have been held in this location in the past; however, more than four (4) administrative permits have been requested for this property for this calendar year so this special event permit requires approval of the City Commission.

Staff Recommendation

Planning Staff recommends approval of the Special Event Permit SE-15-00637 for Seasonal Greenhouse Sales at 2300 Louisiana Street from 8 am to 7 pm from March 26^th through June 30^th, 2016, subject to the conditions listed in the staff report.

Action

Approve SE-15-00637, if appropriate.
