RE:	Signs of Community Interest Request, Lawrence Home Show 2016

Background

The Lawrence Home Builders Association has requested permission to display temporary event signs to promote the Lawrence Home Show, February 19 -21, 2016.  The signs shall be located at a few key intersections on South Iowa Street and in front of the businesses of Home Show exhibitors.   The proposed signs are 18”x24” and 24”x36” in size with wire posts to secure them in the ground.  The signs would be set out Monday, February 15 and removed Monday, February 22, 2016. 

Action

Approve as “Signs of Community Interest” a request from the Lawrence Home Builders Association to place signs at various locations from February 15 through February 22, 2016.
