Chair Wilbur called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m.
1. Introductions.
Members introduced themselves.
2. Approval of the September 24, 2015 Minutes.
Delaney moved to approve the CDAC meeting minutes from September 24, 2015. Coker seconded the motion. The motion passed 5-0.
3. CDBG Funded Neighborhood Discussion.
The committee requested an informal meeting with the current CDBG funded Neighborhood Associations. Wilbur explained with the amount of funding decreasing, it seemed helpful to meet with representatives of the Neighborhood Associations to discuss best practices and efficient use of the funds. Topics of discussion included printing and postage costs of newsletters, website creation and hosting expenses, fundraising ideas, and increasing membership/participation. Neighborhood Associations were encouraged to share ideas and practices, with the goal being to reduce expenses and increase revenues.
Dresslar asked the Neighborhood Association representatives to send her an email with a description of planned newsletters, including size/shape and label/postage requirements.
4. Calendar.
The next meeting of the CDAC will be on January 14, 2016 at 5:30 pm in the City Commission room. The meeting will focus on establishing a schedule for reviewing the 2016 CDBG/HOME Applications.
5. Public Comment.
There was no public comment.
6. Adjourn.
Delaney moved to adjourn the November 12, 2015 meeting of the CDAC at 6:59 p.m. Coker seconded the motion. The motion passed 5-0.
