The meeting was called to order.
The group toured the MV facility.
New member Linda Jalenak was introduced.
The minutes from the meeting of April 21, 2014 were reviewed. A motion was made by Bateman to approve the minutes. The motion was seconded by Boyle. The motion passed 4-0.
Toomay walked the committee through the report on 2014 revenues and expenditures as of June 30, 2014. As of June 30, 2014, proceeds from the three City sales and use taxes received and receipted to the general fund totaled $4,289,971. Proceeds were transferred to the appropriate funds as follows:

A question was asked about transactions labeled VISA. Toomay explained that small purchases that are made with a city purchasing card show up in the financial system as paid to VISA rather than to the individual vendor. In the future, additional information on these transactions will be provided.
Toomay walked the committee through the infrastructure sales tax spending plan for 2015. Projects include:
Nugent provided an update on the plans for a city transit city.
The committee tentatively scheduled the next meeting for April 21 at 4:00.
A motion to adjourn was made by Jalenak and seconded by Boyle. The motion passed 4-0.
