2016 Annual Software Maintenance for Harris ERP Software

 

Background

The City began using Innoprise Enterprise Resource Planning Software in 2009, Innoprise is a division of Harris ERP Software.  The software modules provides a variety of applications that serve all departments, including financial software for budgeting and accounting, purchasing, inventory, business licenses, asset management, cash receipts, accounts receivable, utility billing, building permits, code enforcement cases and several eGov solutions.  This is a 2016 budget expenditure, the approval is being requested now as the invoice is due January 15th, 2016. 

 

Program Funding

Software maintenance fees are funded annually by the base budgets in the primary user departments.  Because of the large number and variety of software applications in use, several accounts are used to fund the maintenance fees.  Specifically funding would come from these sources:

The Information Technology Department recommends approval to pay the 2016 annual maintenance for the Harris ERP Software (Innoprise) in the amount of $84,261.87.
