RE:	Revised Ordinance for rezoning of 1501 Learnard Ave (Ord no. 9181)

Background

At their December 1, 2015 meeting, the City Commission voted 3 to 2 to approve the rezoning request, Z-15-00427, for 1501 Learnard from the RS7 District to the IL District with use restrictions and conditions subject to the condition that the uses Telecommunication Tower and Telecommunication Antennae be removed from the list of permitted uses.

The City Attorney finds it reasonable to restrict the uses in this specific instance. The rezoning ordinance has been revised to remove those uses per the City Commission’s direction and is on the December 8^th agenda for adoption on 2^nd reading.

Action

Adopt Ordinance No. 9181, revised to remove Telecommunication Tower and Telecommunication Antennae from the list of permitted uses, on second reading.
