The Outreach Team has helped house 24 individuals and 2 families this quarter obtain housing this quarter. This continues to show an increase due to the collaboration with Catholic Charities and their Rapid Rehousing Resource.

The team expects to hear from the Salvation Army any day on a Supportive Permanent Housing Grant that was applied for. This grant will house chronically homeless individuals with Bert Nash providing the case management and other services needed to maintain their housing.

The team struggles to work with and find emergency shelter for literally homeless individuals as the homeless shelter has been consistently full.

The team reports, and the numbers show, and increase in the number of people seeking assistance. Our flex funds have been depleted leaving no assistance for deposits, rent, utilities or other miscellaneous items required to assist our clients. The funds help in many ways. For example, we were able to assist an older man who has been chronically homeless buy his Oklahoma birth cert and ship it here which allowed him to be approved for Prairie Ridge and he moved in this quarter.
