Set a bid opening date of July 2, 2013 for Bid Number B1339 for Bus Stop Signs and Installation

Project Description

In order to continue our coordinated efforts between the Lawrence Transit and KU Parking and Transit Kansas the City of Lawrence is seeking to improve bus stops within the system. To do so the City is seeking proposals from qualified firms that can provide materials and/or labor necessary to acquire and install signs and posts at all stops in our combined system (see attached sign graphics).

Project Funding

Funding for the work is from the FTA grant #611-1-1014-42039 (80%) and Transit Department 2013 Operations Budget (20%). Total amount available for this project is $100,000.
