RE:	Amended route for Tour of Lawrence Campus Circuit Course

On 3/26/13, the City Commission approved a Temporary Use of Public Right-of-Way Permit for the use of various streets for the Tour of Lawrence bicycle events, organized by Lawrence Sports Corporation. Due to changes to construction projects on the KU Campus, organizers of the Tour of Lawrence have been forced to reroute portions of the KU Campus Circuit Course, which will be raced on Saturday 6/29/13.

Lawrence Sports Corporation requests City Commission approval of the attached revised route (newly incorporated city streets highlighted in yellow) for the campus course. City staff sent notice to all properties along the race routes when they were originally considered by the City Commission earlier this year, and we are sending notice to all properties on the newly incorporated city streets as well.

ACTION:      Approve an amended Temporary Use of Public Right-of-Way Permit for the Tour of Lawrence Campus Circuit Course, to be raced on Saturday 6/29/13.
