TWO (2) ˝ TON PICKUPS – B1331
Parks and Recreation requested bids for two ˝ ton pickups. This type of vehicle is used as the basic transportation for their maintenance divisions and will be used to carry staff as well as tools, grass seed, fertilizer, ice melt, tables and chairs. They will replace unit 535, a 2003 pickup and unit 553 a 1999 pickup, both meet the maintenance garage’s guidelines for replacement due to condition, age, and mileage.
This purchase was approved in the 2013 budgeting process.
