RE:	9^th and New Hampshire developments

Below is an update of the above referenced items:

South Project (900 NH)

The CC approved the project on appeal from HRC.  The site plan is in process and must be reviewed by the CC prior to releasing it for building permits.  The building permit application is in process.  Staff is meeting with applicant tomorrow to coordinate on site plan/public improvement/building code issues.

North Project (100 E. 8^th)

In September, 2012 the HRC approved the following for the project’s design:

1. State Law Review
2. Certificate of Appropriateness

The CC reviewed, on appeal, the Downtown Design Guideline Review (building setback and angled parking) and the public improvements (roundabout) that the HRC did not weigh in on.  The applicant withdrew the roundabout concept.  The CC also approved the demolition of the existing building on the property, a requirement of the code.

Applications that still need to be submitted for this project are the site plan, any public improvements plans, and building permits.
