RE:	Project No. PW1304 –Airport Pavement Maintenance & Repair Lawrence Municipal Airport, Seal Coat and Re-stripe Runway 15-33 and Taxiway A April 23, 2013 Consent Agenda Item – Set Bid Date of May 21, 2013

Please include the following item on the City Commission agenda for consideration at the April 23, 2013 meeting.

Project Description.  Provide a seal coat and re-stripe runway 15-33 and taxiway A.  This project is funded 90% from the FAA and 10% from the City.  The project must conform to all Federal requirements including Davis Bacon Wage Rules.

Project Details.  The project has an 11 day working schedule and Runway 15-33 will be closed during this period.  The bids will be opened on May 21, 2013 and The FAA will award the grant May 24, 2013. 

Action Request.  Set bid date of May 21, 2013 for City Bid No. B1329, Project No. PW1304, Airport Pavement Maintenance & Repair.
