Background

On March 18, 2013, the Traffic Safety Commission heard a request to construct TRAFFIC CALMING DEVICES on Sharon Drive, north of Trail Road. The request referenced speeding on Sharon Drive and small children in the area.

Traffic Safety Commission Action

At the Traffic Safety Commission meeting, two (2) residents on Sharon Drive spoke in opposition to the request. In addition, three (3) e-mails were received prior to the meeting in opposition to the request. No one spoke in favor of the request. A motion to deny the request was approved unanimously by the Traffic Safety Commission, 8-0.

Action Request

It is recommended that the City Commission concur with the recommendation of the Traffic Safety Commission, if appropriate.
