AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, AMENDING CHAPTER VI, ARTICLES 1 AND 8 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2011 EDITION, AND AMENDMENTS THERETO, PERTAINING TO SOLICITOR LICENSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 6-108.16 of the Code of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, 2011 Edition, and amendments thereto, is hereby amended and shall read as follows:

SECTION 2. Section 6-804 of the Code of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, 2011 Edition, and amendments thereto, is hereby amended and shall read as follows:
6-804 SOLICITOR’S LICENSE FEE.
The application fee
for a Solicitor’s License is $50.00 $250.00. The
application fee is not pro-rated or refundable for any reason, including denial
of an application or revocation of a license.
SECTION 3. If any section, clause, sentence, or phrase of this ordinance is found to be unconstitutional or is otherwise held invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect the validity of any remaining parts of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect immediately following its adoption and publication as provided by law.
