Call Meeting to Order (Scott White, Chair person)
Take roll call to determine quorum of members.
Discussion on Curbside Recycling Agenda Item on the City Commission 2/12/13 Meeting
Daniel Poull served on the City’s Request for Proposals (RFP) Review Committee and gave a brief description of the proposals and addendums submitted in response to the City’s curbside recycling RFP.
Motion and second to support the RFP Review Committee’s recommendation to authorize staff to negotiate with Hamm for Material Recovery Facility (MRF) operations under a recycling proposal with the City collecting curbside recycling on a bi-weekly basis (Poull/Spomer).
Vote: Motion was passed unanimously.
SAB drafted a memo in support of the RFP Review Committee’s recommendation. Staff will submit SAB’s memo to the City Commission.
