Additional
Information – Recreation Center at Rock Chalk Park

An updated Development Agreement
has been added to the agenda. The most substantive changes have been the
inclusion of additional exhibits to the agreement. Many of the exhibits are
from previously approved City Commission actions, such as the plat and site
plan for the Rock Chalk Addition.
- Exhibit A
is a description of the property from the Final Plat.
- Exhibit
A-1 and A-3 are legal descriptions from the Plat while A-2 will be the
legal description for the infrastructure site.
- Exhibit B
is the site plan.
- Exhibit C
is the Purchase Agreement for the property which is described in the staff
memorandum.
- Exhibit D will
be the Recreation Center plans which will be incorporated by reference
once they are finalized by the architects and approved by the City
Commission.
- Exhibit E
is a general timeline for the projects.
- Exhibit F is
a general description of the infrastructure improvements. The Public
Improvement Plans (PIP) must be approved by City engineering staff.
- Exhibit G
will incorporate by reference the public improvement plans once completed
and approved by the City staff.
- Exhibit H
is a certificate of pad-ready completion for the location of the
Recreation Center.
Today, city
staff received four (4) agreements from KU which were executed last week.

staff has prepared additional
information concerning the proposed IRB issuance for the project.
