RE:	Iwig Dairy Mobile Food Vending in City Parking Lot

Please place this item on the City Commission’s next appropriate meeting agenda:

ACTION:      Authorize Iwig Dairy to operate as a mobile food vendor in the city’s parking lot located on the southeast corner of 2^nd and Locust, contingent on the applicant obtaining a city Mobile Food Vendor license.

Iwig Dairy has requested city permission to sell their products from a mobile food unit in the city’s parking lot located on the southeast corner of 2^nd and Locust (see attached map). Staff recommends approval of this request, contingent on the applicant obtaining a mobile food vendor license from the city. With property owner permission, a mobile food vendor is allowed to sell from a non-residentially zoned property for no more than three hours per day.

The North Lawrence Improvement Association submitted the attached letter of support for Iwig’s request.
