RE:

Esri Enterprise Licensing Agreement 2013 – 2016

         I.    Esri Software The City pays $50,000 annually to Esri for GIS software, support and training through an Enterprise License Agreement (ELA).  Esri is the industry leader in GIS software and technology.  The software being renewed is used at all levels within the City, and also supports access to GIS information available to the citizens via the web.  Core software and extensions are included for ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Server Online ArcSDE spatial database engine, ArcGIS Spatial Analyst, ArcGIS 3D Analyst, ArcGIS Publisher, ArcGIS Network Analyst and Esri City Engine.  The software listed involves multiple servers, desktop systems and field information collection.

II.    Esri Enterprise License Agreement The previous ELA between the City and Esri expires January 22nd, 2013.  The City is still eligible to renew the ELA at the same level because its latest census population is within the range of 50,001 to 100,000.  With the ELA the City gets unlimited licenses of all core products and software extensions for $50,000 annually or $150,000 over a 3 year period.  In addition to cost savings the ELA benefits the City with unlimited software deployment for all departments, 10,000 hours of virtual online web courses and priority technical support.  The ELA is a 3 year agreement.  At the end of the 3 years the City can renegotiate the ELA or switch to a different licensing structure.
