Chair called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
Review and approve minutes from August 11, 2011
After review, Jarboe moved to accept the minutes as written. Seconded by Blanchard; Passed 4-0.
Elect Chair and Vice-Chair
Jarboe nominated Blanchard as Chair. Seconded by Chris Champagne. Approved 3-0.
Blanchard nominated Jarboe as Vice-Chair. Seconded by Duncan. Approved 3-0.
Distribute 2012 International Code books and assign chapters for review
Code books were distributed to board members and staff asked which code should be reviewed first. Duncan inquired about the length limitation of flexible duct and would like to have additional discussion about the limitation. After a brief discussion, the board decided to review the Mechanical portions of the 2012 International Residential Code first and bring back comments for the next meeting.
