Please include the following item on the City Commission agenda for consideration at the November 1st, 2011, meeting:

 

Accept the bid provided by Western Extralite Company for interior light fixtures.

 

Project Description

The City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department requests Commission approval to accept the proposal provided by Western Extralite for $18,164 for interior light fixtures needed for renovation of the Parks & Recreation Administration Office in South Park

 

Pricing for the project was acquired by use of a State of Kansas Cooperative Purchasing Agreement.

 

Project Funding

It is proposed that the $18,164 be funded from Sales Tax Reserve.

 

Action Request

Authorize the City Manager to sign a purchase requisition for $18,164 to Western Extralite Company for interior light fixtures.
