RE:	License Agreement Hillcrest Neighborhood Association

The Hillcrest Neighborhood Association wishes to install a sign and landscaping at the intersection of 9^th Street and Highland Drive, north of the Jewish Community Center.  The sign, “Welcome to the Hillcrest Neighborhood” is proposed to match City park signs and the area will be landscaped with perennials, shrubs and a short stacked-rock wall.  A site plan, sketch and description of plant materials were submitted to the Planning Office.  The Hillcrest Neighborhood Association has contacted and is working with the Jewish Community Center regarding this project.

The License Agreement was reviewed by the Legal Department, and executed by the Hillcrest Neighborhood Association.

Request:

Authorize the City Manager to execute a License Agreement with the Hillcrest Neighborhood Association for use of right-of-way at 9^th Street and Highland Drive.
