Aviation Advisory Board Minutes

June 30, 2011

PUBLIC PRESENT:	Lloyd Hetrick – FBO, Rick Bryant – ADG, Gary Behrens - ADG, Larry & Karen Kellogg – AOPA, Roger Pine, Mike Dmyterko – Coffman*, Patrick Taylor – Coffman*, Kelvin Heck*, Diane Hofer – Olson Associates* & Jeff Deitering – FAA* Attended PAC Only*

Richard Haig called the meeting to order at 7:38PM.

1. Phase III Draft Report Presentation

The Coffman & Associates presentation and discussion was conducted from 6:30 – 7:30 PM to the Project Advisory Committee.  The report was well received.

2. Review and approval of April 7, 2011 meeting minutes

The April 7, 2011 Board Meeting minutes were reviewed.  Theresa Gordzica moved and Stan Sneegas seconded the motion to approve the minutes.  Motion passed by a vote of 4 - 0.

3. Wildlife Assessment Study

Gary Behrens, ADG Biologist, explained the process used to conduct the Wildlife Assessment Study.  He answered Board Member questions.

4. Airport Manager's Report

· Vacant Board Positions – Board Members should encourage qualified candidates to apply for the two vacant positions.

· Sewer Project – Installing the sewer lines has gone well.  Installing the tank has been slowed due to excess water.

· Airport Marketing Plan – City staff will distribute draft flyers for Board comment.

5. FBO Report

The FBO summarized his report by noting that he is “still in business”.

6. Miscellaneous Business

Rick Bryant reported on recent airport events and possible future events.
