RE:                  Crimson and Blue Motors

Luke Oehlert, owner of record of 1120 East 23^rd Street, wishes to use the parking lot in front of the building located at that address to display cars for sale through a business enterprise known as Crimson and Blue Motors. The parking lot, which is already in existence and has been used as such in the past, is in the City’s extended 23^rd Street Right of Way. Planning Staff has approved the Site Plan for the proposed use subject to Mr. Oehlert’s execution of a Right of Way License Agreement. Staff has prepared and Mr. Oehlert has executed a Right of Way License Agreement, which would govern the use of the parking lot in the City’s Right of Way.

Action Requested: Staff requests the City Commission to authorize the Mayor to execute a License Agreement with Luke Oehlert, permitting him to use a portion of the City’s extended 23rd Street Right of Way as a parking lot, if appropriate.
