ORDINANCE NO. 8636

AN ORDINANCE RELATED TO THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS PERTAINING TO THE USE OF SAFETY BELTS, REPEALING SECTION 17-119 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2011 EDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

Section 1.         Section 17-119 of the Code of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, 2011 Edition, and amendments thereto, and Section 4 of Ordinance 8558 is hereby repealed in its entirety.

Section 2.         This ordinance shall take effect and be in force effective on July 1, 2011 and upon its passage and publication once in the official city paper as provided by law.
