ORDINANCE NO. 8635

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS AMENDING CHAPTER 12, ARTICLE 1, SECTION 12-103 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2011 EDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. Chapter 12, Article 1, Section 12-103 of the Code of the City of Lawrence, Kansas 2011 Edition and amendments thereto, is hereby amended to read as follows:

12-103              JUDGE PRO TEMPORE, COMPENSATION. 

The judge pro tempore shall receive minimum compensation of $2575 per day.  However, if the judge pro tempore is required to be in court more than one (1) hour, he/she may receive compensation up to a maximum of $250 per day.

SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
