Vacation of Unused Utility Easement – Prairie Wind Addition May 10, 2011 City Commission Agenda |
On May 10, 2011 the City Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a request by Tenants to Homeowners, Inc. to vacate a 10 ft. utility easement in the western portion of Lot 1, Prairie Wind Addition, currently addressed 2620 Haskell Avenue. Westar no longer services a street light by this easement. The vacation request is to accommodate a development plan which proposes to have a building where the existing utility easement resides.
All utilities, as well as property owners within 200 feet, were notified. No objections were received.
Action Requested:
Open public hearing and, pending discussion, approve order of vacation.
