Dear Ms. Evans,

On behalf of the City of Lawrence, I congratulate you on the endeavor of your Foundation to establish a Fallen Warrior Memorial to honor those who have served our Country and that you have chosen Kansas for the memorial site.  After reviewing your site criteria, the City of Lawrence itself does not have ownership or control of a parcel that would meet your requirements.  However, the City is open to assisting you should your Foundation wish to pursue the site in Lawrence. 

I wish you all the best with your work and future success in establishing this memorial in Kansas.
