TWO (2) FULL SIZE 4X4 PICKUPS –  PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT – #B1110

The Public Works, Street Division requested bids for two full size 4X4 pickups.  They will be used for supervisor’s transportation and will haul hand tools, small equipment , materials weighing less than 1000 lbs. and for pulling air compressors and the sign board.  They will be used off road for approximately 10% of the time.  They will replace Unit 305 and Unit 309, each having over 100,000 miles and the maintenance costs have exceeded the original purchase price.  Olathe Ford’s bid met all specifications.  This purchase was approved in the 2011 budgeting process.
