Long Jump Start Time 6 p.m.

Long Jump Finished 8 p.m.

Street Reopens 11 p.m.

Thursday’s event will move across Mass Street onto the 100 W block of 8th Street. A Men’s Long Jump would be one of Thursday’s events. We are anticipating 8–10 athletes traveling to Lawrence to compete in the long jump event. This event will also last approximately 2 hours. Construction crews would (see attachments) build the portable 120 foot runway and 30 ft landing starting at 6 a.m. on the day of the event.  In addition to the Long Jump event, a Mile run will also take place during the Long Jump competition.

Other promotional activities such as live radio remote, food vendors and product giveaways may take place within the permitted area, and we also are requesting a temporary alcohol permit is requested for this area.
