The following equipment meets or exceeds the criteria for replacement, or is no longer useful to the City. We request City Commission approval to sell the surplus equipment on Gov Deals as we have done in the past
INFORMATION SYSTEMS EQUIPMENT
Information Systems replaced 30 Intel Pentium 4 work stations in the past two years. The hard drives have been erased and there is no software installed. They were in fair condition when replaced but do have issues such as noisy fans and failed power supplies.
UTILITIES EQUIPMENT
All Utilities equipment listed below has been replaced or is being replaced for general upgrades. The upgrades are to multifunction systems and the need for higher accuracy. Some equipment has intermittent problems.
PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT
All equipment listed is from the Central Maintenance Garage. The garage doors were used on the old tire shop that was torn down to make room for the new one. The oil furnace tank was replaced with a double wall tank to meet EPA rules. The oil filter crusher was replaced with a larger unit due to the door hanging up causing problems. The AC recycling center was replaced because it is for recycling R-12 Freon. Most of the fleet is now using R134A refrigerant and this machine will not recycle the new Freon. The alignment machine is non-functioning and is being sold for parts only. There are several pallets of cardboard boxes that we acquired when we purchased the Farmland plant and are not useful to the City.
