RE:	Airport Lease January 11, 2011 City Commission Agenda

The City of Lawrence leases two tracts of land adjacent to the Lawrence Municipal Airport for farming - 9.3497 acres and 11.0958 acres.  Roger Pine has elected not to renew his option to lease the land.  Patrick D. Ross, presently leasing acreage, would like to lease the land previously leased by Mr. Pine.  Mr. Ross will pay the City of Lawrence $65 per acre/per year.

Action Requested:  Authorize City Manager to execute the Lease Agreement with Patrick D. Ross for agricultural purposes at the Lawrence Municipal Airport.
