RE:               Bid date for Park & Recreation HVAC repair services

Please include the following item on the next City Commission agenda:

Set a bid opening date of January 11, 2011, for hourly rate HVAC repairs and services.

Project Description

The City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department requests the bidding of HVAC repair and maintenance services, to be performed at an hourly rate, in City owned facilities. The successful bidder will be hired as needed to perform small projects throughout the year.  

Project Funding

It is estimated that the total of these projects throughout the year will equal $30,000 - $40,000 and will be funded using the general fund, sales tax reserve and the alcohol tax.

Action Request

The City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department staff requests approval from the City Commission to set a bid date of January 11th, 2011, for the hourly HVAC repair services.
