Please place the following on the December 21, 2010 City Commission consent agenda for their consideration:
Award bid for 2011 bus shelter maintenance services for the Lawrence Transit System to Smart Building Services for $12,095.20.
Background
The Lawrence Transit System requested bids for bus shelter maintenance services for 2010. The services included contractors to provide cleaning service biweekly, trash removal weekly, light maintenance, and decal installation services as requested for transit shelters located throughout the City of Lawrence.

This purchase was included in the budget adopted for the Public Transportation Fund for 2011.
Recommended Action:
Staff recommends the City Commission authorize the City Manager to award the bid for 2011 bus shelter maintenance services for the Lawrence Transit System to Smart Building Services in the amount of $12,095.20.
